Dogs can benefit from weekly or monthly massage. As your dog gets more comfortable with massage the results tend to become increasingly effective and productive.
Massage is beneficial for a myriad of reasons. Similar to humans, dogs respond to increased circulation and relaxation. This can help with anxiety, stress, pain relief, arthritis, stiffness, etc.
In general, there is a two week post-surgical recovery period. Once your vet signs the referral letter you can add massage to your dog's treatment protocol.
This is a letter required by the State of Utah to perform canine massage. You and your vet can be assured the massage your dog is receiving is being provided by a Certified Canine Massage Practitioner.
